During the last year many major project milestones have been achieved. These were beside others: reaching the design electron beam energy of 17.5 GeV, acceleration of bunch trains with design length of 2700 bunches trough all accelerator sections, first lasing at SASE2 and SASE3 beam lines as well as simultaneous self-amplified spontaneous emission (SASE) delivery at all three beam lines (SASE1 to SASE3). This talk gives an overview over the recent achievements, while elaborating on certain key aspects. Furthermore the current status including performance figures is presented. The injector consists of linac and booster. To meet the requirement of the booster, the linac should provide 10 GeV electron and positron beam at a repetition of 100 Hz, one-bunch-per-pulse is adopted and bunch charge should be larger than 3 nC. A 1.1 GeV damping ring with 75.4 m circumference has adopted to reduce the emittance of positron. ERL &amp;#091;2&amp;#093; could bring these levels of performances, as this machine could accelerate high intensity electrons beam with very compact facilities and very low amount of power. PERLE &amp;#091;3&amp;#093; will be the facility to study the feasibility and the performances of this kind of accelerator for the future LHeC facility &amp;#091;4&amp;#093;, developed by the CERN. The main parameters are: beam energy up to 1 GeV and 15 mA. A multi-turn ERL with a photo injector and 4 superconducting cavities LINAC (2 SCL by pass, up to 150 MeV per pass) will be designed. As an intermediate step, the PERLE project wanted to commission a littler facility providing electrons beam up to 500 MeV and 20 mA, PERLE@Orsay &amp;#091;5&amp;#093;, situated in the Orsay University Campus in France.&lt;br \/&gt;\nFrench regulations regarding nuclear facilities, and more specifically electrons accelerator, has defined threshold values (beam energy higher than 50 MeV and beam power higher than 1 kW) for the beam produced when a special classification must be applied to the facility (INB \u2013 Installation nucl\u00e9aire de base or Basis Nuclear Facility) &amp;#091;6&amp;#093;. Many difficulties relate to this classification, as a very long and difficult process to obtain the exploitation licence, and very demanding needs of resources (human forces and financial). At first sight, regarding the PERLE@Orsay parameters, the facility could be classified as INB. &lt;br \/&gt;\nNevertheless, the value for the beam power refers to the power lost in the target. So, the main goal of this actual study is to prove that beam losses power are lower than 1 kW in any circumstances. This talk will present the PERLE@Orsay project, the main goals and the current technical issues. Electrons pass through an SRF cryomodule 4 times during acceleration from 6 MeV to 150 MeV, and then decelerate 4 times. Most of the 70 m circumference consists of a return loop with a single beam pipe, using Halbach-style permanent magnet quadrupoles configured with very strong FFA optics to enable a very large momentum acceptance.&lt;br \/&gt;\nCBETA will be the first accelerator to combine all four of its key features \u2013 4 passes, SRF, FFA optics, Halbach magnets \u2013 although these have all been successful, individually, in other accelerators. The FFA optics are unique in demonstrating lowsymmetry adiabatic transitions from arc to straight. These technologies could be used in a next generation Electron Ion Collider (EIC) if it is sited at BNL as eRHIC.&lt;br \/&gt;\nA Fractional Arc Test was performed with beam during March and April 2018. The final \u201cphase 1\u201d beam commissioning will occur in late 2019 and early 2020. A later \u201cphase 2\u201d CBETA development, if funded, could be used to perform accelerator physics R&amp;D at Cornell. There are opportunities for accelerator physics collaboration, in phase 1 beam commissioning, in the design of CBETA phase 2 (and similar ERLs), and in EIC.&lt;br \/&gt;\nCBETA is funded solely by the New York State Energy Research &amp;
