The KEK Makaizou Club was awarded the Director\u2019s Special Award for their outstanding victory in the Mini-4WD race \u201cNo Rules JCJC Athletics\u201d held at Niconico Chokaigi 2025. The award was given not only for their victory, but also for their contribution to raising recognition of KEK\u2019s high level of technical expertise and enhancing KEK\u2019s visibility.<\/p>\n

From the Accelerator Laboratory, Associate Engineer Hayato Araki (Innovation Center for Applied Superconducting Accelerators, iCASA), who led the team as the captain, Associate Engineer Shunto Ogasawara (Division 3), who was involved in electronic control design, and Associate Engineer Sora Arai (iCASA), who contributed to machine adjustments as an experienced Mini-4WD race, attended the award ceremony. They were recognized for their contributions through their daily work on development of accelerator control and RF cavity.<\/p>\n
